Genuine Oak Barrel Pond – Wildlife-Friendly Patio Pond or Planter | Wild Your Garden

Description

Create your own wildlife oasis, even in the smallest of spaces – no liner, no nonsense, just a beautiful, water-tight oak barrel pond.

These genuine oak whisky barrels are the very same ones Joel Ashton uses in his Wild Your Garden designs – chosen for quality, durability, and their instant character. Each one has been expertly selected to hold water without the need for a liner, making them ideal for compact garden ponds that support real wildlife.

Whether you’re on a balcony, terrace, or courtyard, this is your chance to bring dragonflies, frogs, birds, and pollinators into your space with minimal effort – and maximum benefit.

If you’d prefer to use your barrel as a planter, simply request drainage holes in the order comments section when checking out. We’ll make sure it’s prepped accordingly before it reaches you.

❗ Please note: Preparation is required before planting.  A quick hose rinse won’t do the trick! We’ll guide you through exactly what to do (don’t worry – it’s easy and worth it).

Need help choosing the right aquatic plants or baskets? Just drop us an email at [email protected] – we’re here to help. You can also purchase one of our ready-made barrel pond plant kits, featuring Joel’s tried-and-tested favourites and tailored to your specific garden situation.  Just send an email across and we’ll do the rest.

When buying the barrel *and* plants, your purchase includes full instructions and expert guidance to help your pond thrive, without turning stagnant or becoming a maintenance chore.
