Description

14thC English/Italian Baselard.  Massively iconic – this piece is based on the X297 in the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The hilt consists of a slender grip with two long crossguards and the wood plates are Box.

It has a diamond section double-edged blade with a single fuller on each face. Long and slender and suitable for either a civilian or soldier.

Double edged with a 35cm blade and comes with a double layer vegtan, red, incised and stamp decoration to front and rear and bronze chape.
