Erysimum ‘Bowles Mauve’ – A Reliable Favourite for Wildlife-Friendly Gardens

Description

Erysimum ‘Bowles Mauve’ is a long-flowering, evergreen perennial that quietly works hard for wildlife over many months.

From early spring through to autumn in mild years, its soft mauve flowers provide a valuable nectar source for bees and other pollinating insects, often flowering when little else is available. The narrow, grey-green foliage forms a neat, shrubby shape, making it useful for structure as well as wildlife value.

Exceptionally tough and adaptable, ‘Bowles Mauve’ thrives in sunny, free-draining soil and copes well with dry conditions once established. It benefits from occasional trimming to keep it compact and encourage fresh growth.

A dependable, no-fuss plant that earns its place in any wildlife-friendly garden.
